Well, we are all vastly different aren’t we!?!?!?
I researched this topic so I could gain some additional insight on the subject, especially during these very tumultuous political times, including the #METOO movement. Every article I read was about women relating to men, what we want from men, how to help men understand us, what we need to do to be more relatable to men, and basically everything revolved around men as the center of our earth. I have been single for ten years now - don't get me wrong, I certainly hope my person is out there somewhere - but I think women would think differently and live very different lives if they weren't constantly worried about pleasing a man, whether that be your husband, boss, parent, teacher, coach, clergy, psychic, etc. Women are the natural nurturers and generally can be better employees because they tend to care more about people. Women can also be conniving, vindictive, and ruthless should their domains be challenged. But, every person, MAN or WOMAN, has to own what they do in life and karma always intervenes for life lessons.
I am eternally grateful for my father and grandfathers for teaching me to be my true self, no matter what or who was in my life, as well as creating a safe-haven in my childhood. My father has helped me along my path at every turn supporting me with his meaningful words and a never ending love. God knows we have had some rough times behind us, but the steadfast love remained even through the hard times of the loss of my mother, grandparents, aunts and uncles who all touched our lives in such meaningful ways.
Always comfortable in my own skin, I think we all want the love of family, peace in our lives & hearts, prosperity & security, and a lot of vacation days! Be free to be yourself, own your life, be kind to yourself and others even when it’s a challenging task. Treat yourself beautifully everyday, you deserve it!
